Tales of a single lady in a single bedroom home

Every box is unpacked and gone!!!! You have no idea how awesome that feels. Many of you might know, that when I move, I unpack and get settled as fast as possible...kind of a warp speed. It might be because I moved around a lot, so when you never know how long you're going to be somewhere, you want to make the home you are in "home" as quick as you can. I mean I unpack and try to customize a hotel room I'm in for 2 nights, taking 4 days to get things settled in an apartment was actually kind of long in my book.

So far I LOVE living alone. It's quiet when I want it to be (unless the dog upstairs has decided it can't live without it's owner who has left for the day) and noisy when I want it to be through music and my extended cable!!!! Side note: I went two years without cable at all in Italy. Last year I only had 23 channels. I know tv is not that important to one's life, but having Stacy and Clinton back into my life as they teach people how to dress is like regaining two friendships I had lost!

I'm sure I'll have a lot of stories to tell, but honestly the past 5 days in my apartment have been pretty uneventful. Besides the 8000 trips to every Walmart and Target in this city to get things I needed (yes I've been to all of them) and the new adjustment to having to put my doggie on a leash and take her outside to go to the bathroom instead of just opening a backdoor, it doesn't feel like much else has changed. I do now have a handy little gym I've utilized once and a pool that tons of people were hanging out at this afternoon at my disposal. So far, things are great. I like change, and I think this change is going to be good.

Here is a little video of my crib. Ha! I don't ever say "crib."

Here are more pictures of the casa. You can ignore or laugh at the first pictures that have nothing to do with my apartment.
