"M"cDonalds and More

Branson better watch out because 35 of our Summer Project students have joined their workforce. For the next 9 weeks, they have joined the ranks of McDonalds, Silver Dollar City and Sonic, logoed visor, name tag and all. Within one day, all students had a much deeper appreciation for the good people that work the fast food business. Fries, skip the onions, no ketchup, extra cheese...as the customer these seem like simple words, but for the person behind the counter, they are extra buttons of abbreviations to remember and have to push quickly. The goal of the summer through these jobs is for the students to represent Jesus and share his love with those they work with. It has been so fun to go visit them these first couple of days and see their smiling (yet tired) faces.
