So what are you really doing next?

Many of you might be wondering, "So what exactly is your next step? You've mentioned the states and continuing with Crusade, but what does that actually mean?"

Those are wonderful questions. Let me see if this will help. I am continuing with Crusade, and I am staying in the states. The past two years I completed two one-year internships overseas with Crusade. You only get two of these one year commitments. After that you have to decide to join long-term staff with Crusade or go another way.

I absolutely love my job, so I decided to join long-term staff, but this time in America. At the moment I'm still waiting to hear about my placement, but I could be anywhere in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Louisiana.

I'm excited about taking what the Lord has taught me about ministry and myself and implementing it here. I'm so excited to be able to reach American students, to invest in their lives through helping them grow in their faith, and then to send them out to reach their own school, their nation, or the nations around the world.

So here is a time line of what my next couple of months will look like.
mid September - week long training in Florida with Crusade on how to raise prayer and financial support long term

Fall - Meet with people in order to raise my prayer and financial support, I am praying that I will have it completed by the beginning of the new year

Jan/Feb 2008 - Attend a 5 week long New Staff Training in Florida with Crusade

Spring 2008
- Continue raising my prayer and financial support if not completed, report to my new school where I will be serving

I hope that helped. For more information, here is the region's website.
