Discipline

So have you ever noticed that when you lose discipline in one area of life, it tends to feed into others? Well I have in my life. For example, I completed the Iron Man. HUGE DEAL! BUT then I stopped exercising. For about 2 weeks. Oh and the food I ate begin to get more and more not healthy for me. Then I realized that not healthy food meant I was eating out more, therefore leading to higher expenses. Which also tied in is a lack of spending time with the Lord. I mean everything is so stinkin' interconnected. SO I finally realized this on Sunday as I felt gross, realized I hadn't spent time with the Lord in awhile, realized how excited I was for pay day this week and realized how exercise was not anything I really wanted to do anymore.

Step 1: Admit you have a problem. I need some discipline back in my life.
Step 2: Do something about it. I'm not sure that's actually step two, but it's mine.

Really I just wanted the time with the Lord back in my life. I missed it dearly! So I stepped back into eating healthier, spending less money through using my groceries and sat in what I've now labeled my "time with Jesus" chair and had great time with Him this morning. Exercise not so much yet, but getting back on track in 3 out of 4 things isn't bad, huh? Now it's just onto cleaning my apartment.
