Noodles

So this has nothing to do with Italy. It will not be an Italian entry whatsoever. It does, however, have everything to do with noodles.

Have you ever noticed when certain topics of conversation pop up that seem abnormally random? For example, if one would talk about rugs, orange bowls or red flower vases more than about three times in a months period.

Well my abnormally random topic of conversation is about noodles. I suppose this could be the Italian part of the entry. We eat a lot of noodles here. My conversations are not about Italian noddles though. They are three separate stories that I have heard in the past month all dealing with three separate kinds of noodles.

Story 1: Glass Noodles...

These are the slimy, yet delicious noodles that one would find in an Asian country. Mostly likely in the southern oceanic area. It is also the type of noodle that one of my teammates loves to say with a funny accent. She says it. We laugh. I mean who says "Glass Noodle." Thank you funny teammate!

Story 2: "Noodle"

Again this story consists of an individual saying the word noodle in a funny way. This time, however, it is the little niece of my roommate. So, that's it. Not so funny when you can't hear it, but oh so cute when heard in real life.
(She is really talking about pasta noodles, but I wanted to break up the monotony of pictures with a picture of the fun pool toy noodle.)

Story 3: Stroganoff Wedding

So I had this dream once...disclaimer: my dreams are always very weird...that my mom was trying to convince me that the wedding dress I was wearing (for my supposed wedding that day) was fine. It was just too bad that I could not agree as the dress was made out of stroganoff noodles. Now these type of noodles might work with the whole off-white color theme of a wedding dress, but not so well with anything else. How would one technically wear such an article of clothing? Thankfully, I got to wake up, remember I'm single anyway and carefully store in mind that stroganoff and wedding dress are two words that will never go together.

So, that is it with the noodle stories. I realized that I have never used the word noodle so many times in one sitting. Just for fun you should try saying it 10 times fast and then laugh at how ridiculous you sound. Enjoy!

you should totally get audio clips on here of Lea Anne and Gracie saying their famous noodle phrases.
